Charleroi had a very good season in which they won the Belgian League, the GP of Charleroi and the Verviers IO. Charleroi players have also performed well abroad, and as if things couldn’t get better, August saw the long-awaited return of their star, Alain Hanotiaux.

Squad: The club has many talented quality players, here are some of them:

Alain Hanotiaux is currently Belgium’s top player and is returning to the club after a long spell at European Giants’ Eagles Napoli. He will be the club’s playmaker in Almada and it is safe to say that he will be one of the best players present,

Bessim Golger is another key player of the squad and despite having a very short fuse he will be very useful in the club’s European Conquest.

Michael Casciano is the youngest player on the team at the age of 21. The Belgian-born Italian has proved very useful in the past and the Europa Cup will provide him with another chance to shine and show his true potential.

Sami Targui is another of the clubs successes, he is proof that Charleroi is the club which provided Belgium with most of its best Junior players in the past, players like Casciano, Targui and Golger are now all top players and will be vital for the squad where together with the more experienced players such as Hanotiaux, Di Ruggiero and Mazzaglia they will provide an amazing team which are definitelt contenders for the title.
